Acre is working with an impact private equity firm focused on the circular economy. Founded in 2015, the firm aims to tackle today's take-make-dispose model of production and consumption, using the circular economy as a framework to drive superior financial returns alongside positive environmental impact.

Following the recent oversubscribed close of its second fund, the firm is looking to recruit an Operating Principal to join its team. With that, you will be essential to supporting portfolio company growth and will support broader elements of the investment process.

Skills Required:

  • Assessing the potential for value creation within existing and prospective new investment opportunities;

  • Leading the development of strategic growth plans for investee companies to maximise their financial returns and positive environmental impact;

  • Leading portfolio company value-creation initiatives, including working with portfolio company board representatives and portfolio management teams to identify and support the execution of strategic growth initiatives;

  • Supporting the broader investment team during the pre-investment assessment and due diligence process with a specific focus on go-to-market strategy, organisational development, and sustainability.

Experience Sought:

  • A track record in working with management teams to identify, develop and execute strategic growth initiatives (either directly from within an investment firm or through strategy consultancy);

  • Demonstrable interest in sustainable investing and the circular economy;

  • Specific expertise in organisational development, go-to-market strategy, and sales process efficiency.

This is a unique opportunity for anyone passionate about the circular economy to join a growing, purpose-driven, and compassionate team who has a proven track record in scaling growth-stage businesses. Training and continual professional development are core elements of a sustainable talent management culture. You should have the ambition and desire to develop and take advantage of career development opportunities that an expanding private equity fund manager with a multi-fund strategy can offer.
