Project Development Executive

Acre has been retained by a Global Energy Commodities business to support the building of a new state-of-the-art Renewables Division in North America. Our client currently operates hundreds of assets around the world and recently entered a multi-billion-dollar deal with one of the world's largest private equity firms to transition their portfolio to low-carbon and renewable technologies.

​Reporting to the Head of North America, the Project Development Executive will be responsible for aggressively building an operating portfolio of renewable energy assets, alongside forming a robust development team exceeding 25 people across market strategy, permitting, real estate, and more.

​

Provided with significant capital and support to grow the business, this role will be responsible for onboarding multiple GWs of operational assets by 2029, accompanied by an accompanied development pipeline exceeding 10GW.

Key Success Criteria:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in project and portfolio development within renewable energy, specifically utility-scale technologies, including solar, wind, and battery storage

• Experience developing and managing Greenfield Development and M&A functions at the GW portfolio level

• Clear track record of managing large and diverse teams preferred
