Are you looking for an opportunity to set up and drive the commercial side of a quickly growing office from a major innovator in PV and solar technology? Our client is looking to hire an entrepreneurial (senior) sales manager to bring their high-quality PV innovations to market in the Benelux.

You'll get the opportunity to drive the commercial process using your own expertise and initiatives, as well as building a full (international) sales team down the line. The role reports into the General Manager and has a key position in developing the go-to-market strategy.

The client base they're looking to target is mostly around PV installation companies - the role is solidly aimed at the B2B space. The end users of the solar panels are both residential and industrial clients.

The office is in Amsterdam, with good flexibility around remote and hybrid working - outbound travel to clients and relevant industry events is expected, as well as fluency in Dutch and English.

Most important responsibilities

  • Responsible for the sales of PV modules in the Netherlands and other European markets, exploring local market opportunities, developing customers, expanding sales channels, forming sales orders, and achieving sales targets.

  • Establish and maintain long-term cooperative relationships with local customers and promote the achievement of orders.

  • Implement annual marketing strategies, organize and carry out local marketing activities, and improve the company's brand image and customer awareness.

  • Conduct local market analysis, develop market and competitor analysis, and provide phased sales strategies.

  • Collaborate with headquarters to implement local marketing plans based on product, price, channel, etc.

Who you are and what you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or above, with a priority given to having a background in business and marketing education.

  • Multi-lingual: Dutch and English.

  • Strong sales experience - and able to independently build and grow the market.

  • Curious and enthusiastic about sales work, able to actively complete company sales tasks, confident and motivated to assist the team in achieving sales goals.

  • Work with a strong sense of responsibility, work steadily and meticulously, be flexible and adaptable, and have a strong ability to withstand pressure.

  • Strong passion for innovation and the direction of new energy and the trade industry.
