Senior Consumer Sector Analyst

We have partnered with a sustainability-focussed asset manager, who is looking for a Senior Consumer Sector Analyst to join their research team and lead the development of their consumer sector roadmap. The successful candidate will be tasked with researching and monitoring the broader consumer sector, in relation to changes in business models, technology and regulation at both a sector and company level. This research will then be used in further stock analysis, contributing to investment decisions across related portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the transition roadmap across the consumer sector, with a focus on changes across the regulatory environment, systems change, and sector-related technological innovation.

• Produce market updates on the competitive dynamics and growth drivers across the wider consumer sector, monitoring market and company-level developments.

• Support the stewardship team across related engagements.

Background:

• Must have experience working across the broader consumer sector (doesn't have to be within financial services).

• Understanding of sustainable investment and how this research could be applied to portfolios (ideal backgrounds; Management Consulting, Private Equity or Asset Management)

• Strong understanding of competitive advantages across the consumer sector.
