Here is an opportunity to join a well-established and purpose-leading private equity investor and leverage your experience in the field. Our client, with assets under management (AuM) exceeding €5.8 billion and a successful track record of over 20 years, is a leading private equity firm dedicated to energy transition and innovation.

This role will be a part of the Sustainable Cities team, which is dedicated to financing real assets that contribute to the decarbonisation of cities. Supporting the growth of developers and operators involved in the eco-friendly transformation of urban construction and mobility.

As a Senior Investment Associate, your role will encompass the end-to-end execution of investment deals, spanning the creation of comprehensive financial models, conducting market and competitiveness analyses, and overseeing the entire due diligence process from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate investment opportunities through market analysis, strategic reviews, and target identification.

  • Execute investment opportunities involving financial modelling, valuation, preparation of investment memos, due diligence reviews, bank financing, and negotiating of legal documentation.

  • Contribute to asset management activities, including reviewing reports, negotiating key contracts (financing, lease agreements, construction contracts), and ensuring effective portfolio management.

  • Participate in fundraising efforts, conducting market reviews, and contributing to the creation of marketing presentations.

  • Foster the development of junior team members, providing guidance and support to analysts and interns.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to make well-informed investment decisions.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, project owners, and industry experts.

Key Requirements:

  • University degree in finance, economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).

  • 5-8 years of experience within infrastructure or real estate, private equity, or M&A & Transaction teams across management consultancy.

  • Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in financial analysis, valuation, and investment appraisal.

  • Good understanding of the energy transition and implications for real assets holdings.

  • Ability to critically analyse data, draw meaningful insights, and make informed investment decisions.

  • Skills in negotiating real estate legal documentation and/or financing would be a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working in a lean, dedicated, and highly motivated team.

  • Fluent in spoken and written French and English. Another European language is a plus.
