Senior Project Engineer - Air Separation Unit (ASU)

Acre has partnered with a publicly traded multi-billion-dollar startup that has piloted a first-of-a-kind energy production technology offering emission reductions greater than 90% of comparable technologies. Once fully commercialized, their technology will grant tens of millions of people across the world access to clean, reliable and low-cost energy.

Their CTO is looking for an expert in the design and integration of large-scale air separation units (thousands of tons per day). The Senior or Principal Project Engineer will own the entire project lifecycle and will serve as the lead engineer guiding internal and external collaboration to guarantee project success. Given you'd be reporting directly to the CTO, the level of impact you'd have on technology development is high and you'd have widespread exposure to the entire technical organization.This is an opportunity to have a high level of ownership in all aspects of the cradle-to-grave development of cutting-edge Air Separation Units.

You'd mainly be responsible for...

• Cross-functionally developing designs, simulations, proposals and technical specifications for each design

• Leading all project engineering efforts and collaboration with industry partners while providing technical expertise at every stage of the development cycle (concept through commissioning)

You'd bring to the table...

• A minimum of a decade of experience executing very large-scale gas processing projects with a clear track record of ownership at every stage of the project cycle

• Technical expertise in cryogenic processing, air separation, gas separation and process simulation (Aspen Plus)

• Excellent project management skills and proven track record of leading complex large-scale industrial projects
