An FTSE-listed, nationally renowned construction organisation has engaged Acre to find their new Sustainability Coordinator to engage with their Group's businesses and support the delivery of their sustainability strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability and within an established team, you will work on end-to-end project management of sustainability initiatives. In this diverse role, you will engage with a range of teams internally, from Communications to Design, as well as external partners and bodies.
This organisation has a clear sustainability strategy, and their framework ensures that important issues are rooted in every business decision. The environmental and social initiatives that you will play a critical role in will ultimately benefit communities across the nation.
You will be responsible for:
Support the team on key projects, including reporting indices, internal and external reporting and communications related to Sustainability Strategy.
End-to-end project management and coordination of data, case studies, or other material for sustainability disclosures or public information.
Identify opportunities for sustainability initiatives by engaging with all divisions and working closely with Leads/Heads.
Lead on the review and coordination of information for sustainability indices, NextGeneration, FTSE4Good, and CDP data to comfortably meet deadlines and maximise scoring.
Share best practice and expertise with all teams in the business through a range of mediums, including meetings, presentations, and webinars.

About you:
A natural communicator and relationship builder, able to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
Experience working with sustainability frameworks (e.g. TCFD).
Have the ability to work in both an autonomous and team capacity.
Demonstrate a desire to identify risks and opportunities as well as scan the external horizon for best practices.
