At Jamie Oliver Group, sustainability is at the heart of everything they do, and their aim is to revolutionise what we eat, one meal at a time, for future generations to thrive!

As a proud B-Corp, Jamie Oliver Group is now looking to grow their team and commitments further with the hire of a Sustainability Manager. In this role, you will be the go-to person for all things sustainability, being the strategic force behind the agenda and ensuring change and impact are created at scale.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Excelling the group to net-zero status by 2040 and elevating the existing programme across topics such as product sustainability, packaging circularity, food waste reduction, carbon reduction and ESG reporting.

  • Being a central point of contact across the organisation for internal stakeholders, in teams such as brand, marketing and communication, product and quality, supply chain, nutrition and procurement, to continue the embedding of sustainability and to further engagement.

  • Externally partnering with sustainability agencies, partnerships, and audiences. You enjoy engaging others, bringing them along on the journey and being a face of Jamie Oliver Group's sustainability programme.

  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of B-Corp certification. You will liaise with partners internally and ensure the project is remaining a key priority, bringing all along on the journey with you.

  • Proactively target-setting on social impact goals alongside the senior leadership team. You align these with the company values, as well as commercial objectives, which you can operationalise, monitor, and report on.

In this role, you will be a strong voice of influence, using both your knowledge and technical expertise but also your communication skills. You enjoy being a convener around critical topics on sustainability for impact through using a data and detail-orientated approach.

To thrive in this role, you will benefit from having the following already:

  • Relevant exposure to working in sustainability and corporate purpose, working with environmental legislations, sustainability trends and topics, and you can apply these changes in a corporate organisation like Jamie Oliver Group.

  • A solution-focused mindset. You look to make complex situations as clear and simple as possible, with the confidence to influence both internal and external stakeholders about the company's goals and progress.

  • Excellent project management skills. You enjoy seeing things through to completion, you keep an eye on progress and action where necessary to ensure success, in line with ambitious commitments.

Does this sound like you? If you are confident you have relevant skills and experience, but not convinced you 'tick every box', please do still apply, as Jamie Oliver Group value upskilling and using an open approach to finding the right person.

This role offers a flexible working approach and hybrid model, with three days per week in the North London HQ, and two from home. If you have any questions, please contact Ruth Smith at ruth.smith@acre.com.
