Acre is partnering with Tsao Family Office (TFO), a leading family office based in Singapore. TFO allocates capital across asset classes and global markets with the aim of creating a positive impact. They are seeking an ESG & Impact Investment Analyst to be part of the investment team, who will help to make investments that contribute to solutions for society, particularly under the themes of health, education and climate action.
As the ESG & Impact Investment Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
ESG
Due diligence on prospective fund investments
Engaging fund managers on ESG topics
Monitoring the ESG-related aspects of TFO's investments
Monitoring the scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions of the family office with the aim of continuous improvement
Impact Investments
Monitoring committed investments
Market research
Undertaking research across themes, trends and ESG regulations relevant to the family office
Identifying emerging best practices to continuously improve ESG processes
Pipeline development
Helping to identify new opportunities for investment that are strong on ESG and/or impact through a variety of means (including attending conferences, meetings, networking events etc.)
Partnership management
Helping to maintain good relationships with impact investing and ESG partners
Building the TFO's brand as an impact investor
Reporting
Creating quarterly and annual ESG and impact reports
Preparing TCFD and UNPRI reports
To be successful in this role, you must have:
At least 2 years of experience in an ESG/sustainability/responsible investment/impact investment role, be highly analytical and used to working in high-performing teams.
Broad understanding of ESG frameworks, data reporting and industry best practices.
Knowledge and experience of ESG / responsible investment reporting frameworks, such as UN PRI and TCFD.
Knowledge of global GHG reduction frameworks and initiatives for mitigating climate change.
Strong ability to communicate clearly (verbally, written and presentation skills).
S/he will be proactive and able to work independently whilst also contributing towards the work of a collaborative team.
S/he must have the maturity and relationship skills to serve as a representative of the TFO with respect to partnership development.
Prior work experience in private equity/venture capital/private credit, investment banking, or consulting will be seen as valuable.
Excellent academic qualifications. Financial exposure, knowledge, or degree is a plus.
