About the Role
Incofin is seeking an experienced and motivated Investment Manager to join its Agro-finance & Sustainable Food team in Latin America. Based in Bogotá, you will play a key role in expanding and managing our debt investment portfolio across the region, supporting agricultural SMEs that contribute to a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient food system.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role covering the entire investment lifecycle—from sourcing and executing transactions to monitoring portfolio performance and risk management. You will work closely with regional teams, global colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure high-impact investments across diverse countries and crop types.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Execution & Portfolio Management
- Lead end-to-end debt investment transactions (new loans and rollovers) across Latin America.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including financial, operational, legal, and impact assessments.
- Structure credit facilities, negotiate term sheets, and draft investment proposals for credit committee review.
- Collaborate with legal counsel on loan documentation and ensure timely execution of agreements.
Risk & Performance Monitoring
- Track financial performance, covenant compliance, and impact KPIs for portfolio companies.
- Identify and proactively mitigate financial, operational, and market risks across the region.
- Provide hands-on support to investees to ensure timely financial, compliance, and impact reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent Incofin in industry events, meetings, and conferences across Latin America.
- Strengthen Incofin’s visibility and reputation among partners, clients, and ecosystem actors.
- Collaborate with Incofin teams in Bogotá, other regional offices, and the global headquarters.
Your Profile
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably focused on SMEs or agri-businesses.
- Strong financial analysis skills with deep expertise in liquidity, leverage, solvency, and profitability metrics.
- Proven track record conducting full credit cycle due diligence and structuring loan transactions.
- Experience drafting and negotiating term sheets and legal documentation.
- Strong capabilities in post-disbursement portfolio monitoring and risk management.
Education & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong command of financial modeling tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken); Portuguese is a plus.
- Self-starter, team player, and passionate about sustainable agriculture and impact investing.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 25–40%), including to remote and rural areas across Latin America.
