CEO, Frontier Markets Merchant Bank

Acre is working closely with one of the world's leading sustainable development organisations as they look to appoint a CEO for a new entity they are developing. The aim is to build the market leading merchant bank for emerging and frontier markets. They will serve global companies with a range of services, including capital advisory, private equity and private credit, principal investment, and consulting services.

The merchant bank will serve worthy global companies with a suite of services:

• Capital Advisory (equity and debt capital raise; M&A)

• Private Equity and Private Credit

• Principal Investment

• Consulting Services

Based in London or Washington DC, the new CEO will lead the new entity, establishing and developing their advisory and asset management services. There is considerable budget for growth through acquisition as well as strategic hires.

This person will have:

• Credibility with institutional lending partners and other key actors in global sustainable finance

• Demonstrable track record of commercial success in private equity and/or investment banking

• Ability to attract further talent and lead M&A activity

• Strategic vision to further develop a rapidly expanding commercial business that also delivers measurable, positive impact in frontier & emerging markets

• Experience building up a business through both organic growth and M&A

• Passion for, and experience working in, emerging and frontier markets
