Are you an entrepreneurial energy and sustainability leader with a passion for transforming our energy economy?

Do you thrive in creative and ambitious settings?

Acre is seeking a strong sustainability and energy management leader to drive impact and innovate the commercial approach and product offering of a leading and well-capitalised green hydrogen start-up.

You would be joining the team at a critical growth juncture as they leverage their unique track record, service approach and existing development pipeline to lead an instrumental and ambitious funding round that had the potential to transform the green power landscape.

About the Role:

Our client's mission is to displace 1 million tonnes of CO2 per year by 2030.

To deliver its core mission, it is essential that the group cultivates strong customer relationships by delivering innovative and customer-focused decarbonisation solutions, as well as retains and expands its delivery footprint across key industrial portfolios.

As such, the driver of commercial strategy, client advisory, engagement and acquisition, the Chief Commercial Officer, and the commercial team is central to the organisation's success.

As the leader of the group's commercial operations and strategy, you will need to think creatively and enjoy problem-solving with clients who have a true passion for decarbonising but are struggling to achieve this on their own.

About you:

Given its history as a fast-moving and disruptive company, the role at hand requires creative problem solvers who enjoy a fast pace and are deeply passionate about addressing climate change.

As an innovative product and service approach is critical to the scalable deployment of green hydrogen, we seek a leader with strong experience making energy management, decarbonisation and strategy decisions within or in support of a large multinational organisation. Such a perspective should empower the incoming CCO to think outside the box and bring customer-aligned solutions into an organisation with a strong risk appetite and ambition to deliver a truly innovative approach.

The incoming leader should also be poised to lead and inspire the growth of a best-in-class commercial strategy and team as the organisation scales and to substantially contribute to group strategy and board-level decision-making.

If such a challenge excites you and if you feel your skills are well aligned with the opportunity at hand, please apply or contact Sofia Benmouffok at sofia.benmouffok@acre.com.
