Acre is supporting a leading frontrunner in carbon capture, based in Vancouver. In a world grappling with climate change, they're at the forefront of a groundbreaking solution: capturing carbon dioxide from the air and storing it permanently as rock. With this innovative technology, they are partnering with the minerals industry to transform mines into carbon capture hubs, harnessing the same resources essential for a clean energy future.

The founders, renowned experts in carbon capture in mine tailings, bring over 20 years of experience and a deep commitment to environmental stewardship. As Director of Project Deployments, you'll play a pivotal role in executing technology deployment agreements with some of the world's largest mining companies. • Establish and maintain a strong presence at project locations, ensuring smooth integration into the mining operations.

  • Cultivate positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, understanding their expectations and interests, and ensuring their satisfaction.

  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and implement continuous improvement measures to optimize the deployment process.

What You Bring:

  • A proven track record of 5-10 years in project management, demonstrated by a successful history of planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of the mining industry and its operations.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, enabling you to develop custom solutions for unique challenges.

  • Empathy and effective communication skills to build rapport and work harmoniously with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, empowering you to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve excellence.

  • A 'yes-first' mindset, embracing challenges and seeing opportunities in situations that push boundaries.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Why Join:

  • Be part of a passionate and mission-driven team at the forefront of carbon removal.
