ESG Manager

The financial sector has seen a paradigm shift, where investors are looking beyond pure profitability and deeply assessing the impacts of their investments and operations. Financial performance can now be heavily linked to ESG performance, and one type of risk can be translated into the other. Private Markets are at the forefront of this transformation and multiple firms are re-examining their strategies from a sustainability perspective.

Our client is looking to appoint an ESG Manager to lead on the sustainability transition by delivering sustainability strategies for multiple clients' portfolios across different asset classes. You will be involved in both the analytical and client-facing aspects of the projects, from reporting and data analysis to managing client/investor relationships and strategic guidance of portfolio companies' management of ESG and Sustainability topics.

Required Skills:

​

• 5-8 years of working knowledge of ESG and Sustainability in either Private Equity, Banking and/or Consultancy

• Strong analytical/data skills and understanding of different frameworks in ESG

• Examples of applying technical expertise in a strategic advisory context

• Leadership of multiple interdisciplinary teams

• The ability to manage various interdisciplinary tasks

Desired Skills:

• Strong report writing and verbal skills and ability to communicate complex ideas

• Strong project management and client relationship management skill

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
