Acre is delighted to be supporting the search for a Group Sustainability Engagement Manager. This newly created role, reporting to the Head of Group Sustainability, will be responsible for engaging both internally and externally in a two-way dialogue to ensure the BSI's approach is demonstrating best practice and reporting back on impact.

The role:

  • Mapping and reviewing BSI's sustainability stakeholders to track engagement in collaboration with colleagues in marketing and internal communications

  • engaging relevant stakeholders on BSI's strategy, including developing effective two-way dialogues to support review of materiality process

  • developing communication and engagement materials to raise awareness of BSI's support for sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals

  • support engagement with key partners, including the UN Global Compact

  • leading on BSI's formal sustainability reporting, including developing a strategy to ensure coherence across the annual Sustainability Review, content for the Annual Report and Accounts, the Modern Slavery Statement, UN Global Compact Communication on Progress Reports and other reports as required

Your profile

  • Experienced in communications and sustainability reporting, including engaging with NGOs and corporate partners

  • Expertise in planning and coordinating activity across a large, multinational business

  • Experienced in working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders and deadlines

  • Previous project management experience

  • Experienced running community engagement activities working in partnership with third sector organizations
