In this newly created role, you will be ultimately accountable for the company's execution of social impact programmes, campaigns and plans to fulfil the organisation's social impact ambition whilst running the Campaigning, Food Education and Social Impact teams working across the four key areas of the business - media, products and licensing, restaurants and campaigns.

As a B-Corp, Jamie Oliver Group has shown a substantial commitment to sustainability and social impact aligning with Jamie's personal ethos as well as commercial objectives. Now is the time to elevate this further, to drive transformational change and achieve more and create a deeper impact.

You will:

  • Establish and maintain effective measures and reporting procedures for the Company's social impact

  • Head up the Social Impact and B-Corp working groups, represented by key representatives from teams across the business that are responsible for ensuring a successful B-Corp certification process and yearly Social Impact report publication

  • Ensure that our social impact goals are baked into business activities and take responsibility for helping to educate and inform staff, partners and audiences, offering insight and research to guide creative propositions and decision making

  • Lead and guide the Head of Campaigns to create and deliver an ambitious and effective Campaign strategy with the ultimate goal to half childhood obesity in the UK by 2030

  • Develop and manage an annual Social Impact budget, ensuring it is aligned with the strategic objectives and is being applied prudently and effectively

  • Seek and secure additional funding for projects and campaigns from funding bodies, brands, impact investors and HNWI

You'll bring:

  • A demonstrable knowledge and track record of sustainability, social impact and corporate purpose from a consumer-facing business, ideally multi-product/multi-business units

  • Knowledge of sustainable supply chains, ideally from the food, restaurant, FMCG or fashion sector

  • Creative, energising and solution focussed, able to influence and inspire internal and external stakeholders

  • Commercially minded and able to embed the social impact strategy into the way business decisions are made across the organisation

  • Project management skills, including the ability to develop and implement plans and timelines

  • Able to interpret data and use it to tell a compelling story internally and externally, alongside translating analyses into meaningful recommendations and actions

  • Inspirational management experience, leading teams and empowering people
