Head of Sustainability Strategy, Private Equity Firm

Acre has been retained to help appoint a Head of Sustainability Strategy for a private equity firm keen to leverage value creation through this newly created position.

Our client invests in growth-stage companies in Europe with international supply chains in sectors such as tech/software, healthcare and B2B services.

With the main focus on portfolio company engagement, the Head of Sustainability Strategy will be a trusted advisor to leadership teams to enable the integration of sustainability factors (DEI, climate, nature, just transition etc.) into business strategy, product and operational best practice. Contributing to sustainable business transformation and competitive advantage is a key outcome.

This is a chance to play an important and influential sustainability leadership role in a fund committed to building businesses for long-term success alongside positive societal and environmental impact.

People with hybrid backgrounds involving general strategy consulting plus influential sustainability positions in industry are of particular interest.
