Acre is excited to announce our partnership with EQT. We have partnered to appoint an Impact Associate to work across their impact and mainstream funds. This role can be based in either London, Stockholm, or Munich.

EQT aims to ensure the acceleration and transformation of sustainability, diversity performance, and value creation in every investment during their ownership period. EQT will increasingly invest in highly impact-oriented projects to address some of the world's most pressing challenges. EQT believes that a company's value is determined by more than just financial metrics. Taking sustainability into account, both in the way businesses are run and through the products and services they offer, is vital to being a responsible and prudent investor.

The impact funds market is maturing, with scaled product offerings, accelerating LP demand, and industry convergence on best practices and measurement. EQT firmly believes that impact funds have a crucial role to play in the future. This role is part of the Private Capital Sustainability team to support in driving this transformation.

Role Overview:

EQT is seeking a passionate Impact Associate. The role is within the Private Capital Europe/North America business line (encompassing all the investment activities - Private Equity, Growth, Ventures, Life Sciences, and Future). This role is an addition to the Private Capital Sustainability team and the Impact function. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Impact team, including the MD, Impact Manager, and Impact Advisors, contributing to the transformation of their investment strategies and making a real difference.

Example of Responsibilities:

  • Implement EQT's Impact and ESG/Sustainability Management Framework

  • Collaborate with deal teams and sustainability experts on Impact and ESG Due Diligence

  • Develop Impact Acceleration Plans for future investments

  • Stay updated on impact best practices to drive continuous development

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5 years' experience in impact, development finance, or private equity

  • Familiarity with private markets and private equity business models

  • Strong project management, data analysis, and reporting skills

  • Knowledge of impact standards and resources
