Investment Associate - Nature-based Solutions

Our client is an investment intelligence company. For over a decade, they have been a leader in the field of impact investments to scale nature-based solutions in areas such as energy infrastructure, agricultural commodities, and coastal resilience. Driven by data and analytics, their programmes are creating new ways to connect global finance with global investment pipelines of nature-based projects on a global scale.

They are seeking an Associate to join their business with a focus on working across multiple programmes and enabling the connection of funders/investors with a pipeline of projects curated, analysed and presented.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, writing, and thematic mapping: writing and articulating business cases for nature-based solutions in key business sectors

• Pipeline development and networking: Engage with key stakeholders (internal and external), build and expand a network of relationships across government, businesses, and NGOs

• Project analysis: Lead the impact analysis of prospective projects, engaging with their project teams (usually remote in developing countries), assessing impact, project risk and growth opportunities

Key Requirements

• Experience in impact investing, investment analysis, investment advisory, sustainable finance NGOs, etc.

• Experience in analysing nature-based solution investment projects, and producing investor-facing reports

• Experience in stakeholder engagement and the ability to drive and develop relationships with relevant stakeholders
