Acre has partnered with a battery production technology startup that has created a first-of-a-kind chemical production system that is more efficient and carbon neutral than existing lithium refinement production methods at a significantly lower cost.
As they make strides in scaling their technology to commercial scale, they are looking for an experienced Process Engineering Lead to come in and contribute strategic and operational expertise to new process development and process scale-up efforts.
You would:
Explore novel applications and build paper models of future plants and processes by developing process flow sheets, mass balances, process simulations and techno-economic models.
Be responsible for providing financial models and forecasts to present to senior management for strategic decision-making purposes as they pertain to new markets/customers
Lead the engineering design and execution of new pilot plants through commissioning
Conduct a thorough analysis of process data and troubleshoot/identify areas of improvement, and then lead the system optimization and troubleshooting based on the data collected
You'll bring to the table:
A B.S. or M.S. in Chemical engineering coupled with 7-10+ years of process engineering experience (electrochemistry experience is preferred)
Direct experience in the design, scale-up, optimization and commissioning of novel chemical, mineral processing, or water treatment plants
Experience with solid-liquid separations like crystallization, precipitation, membrane processes and filtration
If you'd like to be an early high-impact employee guiding strategic decisions and leading the execution of new processes at a business creating a market-disrupting chemical production technology, please apply!
