Are you an energy professional with a deep understanding of power transactions?
Acre has partnered with a one-of-a-kind renewable energy company to help them identify a Senior Director of Structured Products. With a proven grid-scale solution, and backed by a leading global investment bank, they are scaling globally. They are looking for a leader to join the team and oversee the deal structure, pricing, and contract negotiation for complex structured power transactions (e.g. ESAs; PPAs; NWAs; BOTs; Other).
This is an opportunity to get in on the first floor of a high-growth, global firm that is poised to make a massive impact on the global energy mix.
Among other things, this role will be responsible for:
Collaborating closely with front-line originators and customers to understand their needs and design and negotiate innovative product structures to meet their needs.
Conducting financial modelling and analysis to assess financial viability and profitability of structured transactions.
Presenting and communicating these deals to senior leadership
This position also requires a strong understanding of financial matters, including valuation and modelling workstreams, to ensure that transactions are aligned with the company's performance expectations.
Working cross-functionally to ensure efficient transaction process.
Mentoring and developing the origination team.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Bachelor's degree in finance, legal, engineering, economics, or a similar field.
9+ years of transaction development experience, including experience within the renewable energy sector.
Strong financial modelling and valuation acumen.
Knowledge of energy market policies, regulations, and trends especially in the renewable energy sector.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
An ability to succeed in an environment with much uncertainty.
