Further to this mission, the firm is now seeking the support of a Sustainability Associate to enhance sustainability practices in the investment process, streamline reporting, and contribute to strategy and stakeholder engagement.

The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop sustainability and ESG management skills in a private equity context, working with internal and external stakeholders, across a wide range of sectors, in a dynamic business environment. The role is challenging, valued, and visible, and requires broad involvement with team members, including investment, finance, compliance and investor relations teams.

What you will be doing:

  • Compiling and controlling quantitative and qualitative sustainability data and reports from portfolio companies

  • Delivering quarterly and annual ESG reporting including annual reports, sustainability reports, investor questionnaires, amongst others

  • Improving data collection and reporting processes

  • Analysing sustainability performance of portfolio companies and identifying areas for improvement

  • Collaborating with the Head of Sustainability to identify and analyse emerging sustainability trends, risks and opportunities and developing plans to address them

  • Develop tools and guidance to support portfolio companies in their sustainability journeys

  • Liaising with investors and other stakeholders regarding ESG performance and impact

  • Supporting the Head of Sustainability on work streams relating to SBTi, diversity and inclusion and improving internal governance structures

You will bring:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience with strong exposure to sustainability / ESG projects

  • A master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Sustainability, Economics, Business)

  • Excellent numerical skills and an affinity for working with quantitative tasks

  • Passion for sustainability

  • Positive and collaborative attitude

  • Familiarity with ESG metrics and data analysis

  • Awareness of GHG reporting and emission reduction targets

  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Fluent in a Scandinavian language as well as English

  • Organised, flexible, able to multi-task and to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
