Sustainability Director - Financial Services

Acre are excited to partner with an industry-leading sustainability consultancy, that focus on the global transition toward a sustainable economy, to hire a new Sustainability Director to lead their financial services offering. You drive international growth with investors, banks and insurance businesses whilst leading and developing the internal team.

Role Function:

• Driving international growth across the Financial Services sector, increasing sales year on year

• Supporting the development of key products, such as TCFD and Portfolio Carbon Footprinting

• Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally

• Developing and innovating new products to maintain the organisation's industry-leading position

• Programme management of complex projects with a focus on quality and timeliness of delivery

Reporting into the CEO, this is a highly impactful opportunity that will play a crucial part in aligning the financial services sector to the 1.5 degree Paris agreement target in line with the sustainable development goals (SDGs).

To be considered for this role you must have:

• A wealth of financial services experience

• A natural leader with experience of developing high-value service offerings and internal teams

• Demonstrable success in developing business and building successful relationships with key clients at C-suite level

• Exceptional knowledge of future development and trends in the Financial Services sector

• The ability to effectively communicate with and influence external stakeholders and senior business leaders
