It's an exciting time at Technimark. The company is building an ambitious global sustainability strategy as an integral part of their business and future growth, and they are seeking a professional with a strong interest in and dedication to sustainability to join the team. The sustainability team oversees and manages the company's global sustainability and ESG initiatives and commitments, with a focus on reducing environmental impact, supporting and empowering their people, strengthening business ethics practices, and giving back to the communities in which they operate.

The Sustainability Manager will report to the Corporate Vice President, ESG, and will work closely with all functions to develop and execute strategies to achieve Technimark's sustainability goals. The Sustainability Manager will direct enterprise-wide sustainability data collection and management and oversee annual disclosures and the production of Technimark's sustainability report. The person in this role will take ownership of Technimark's maturing Responsible Sourcing efforts and collaborate across its global footprint to drive continuous improvement, alignment of processes, and collective action around sustainability efforts.


  • Oversee global enterprise-wide sustainability data collection and management, progress tracking, and reporting on Technimark's ESG performance metrics, including greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets.

  • Mature Technimark's data governance by identifying accountabilities and establishing processes that ensure collection and validation of important data needs based on internal performance tracking and external reporting frameworks, including future assurance requirements.

  • Lead the submittal and continuous improvement of key non-financial disclosures, including CDP, EcoVadis, UN Global Compact Communication on Progress, and other reporting requirements as needed.

  • Manage the development and publication of Technimark's annual Sustainability Report, including agency management, content and data collection, editing, reviews, and approvals.

  • Provide timely, accurate, and value-added customer communications via responses to questionnaires and content creation for progress updates and presentations.

  • Monitor current and emerging sustainability and ESG trends, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory requirements with an eye toward strengthening the sustainability program.

  • Assess and analyze company policies and processes to identify areas for improvement and sustainability excellence.

  • Manage Responsible Sourcing efforts to evaluate and minimize social and environmental risks in Technimark's supply chain; coordinate with the sourcing and procurement team to ensure sustainability requirements are integrated into the stages of the sourcing and supplier management process.


  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, data analytics, engineering or related field

  • Knowledge of and passion for general sustainability topics, standards, and leading practices

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sustainability or related field

  • Strong data management skills with an analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making

  • Highly organized project manager, allowing you to successfully work with cross-functional stakeholders in a global business to get things done

  • Independent, self-starter with the interest and ability to "figure things out"

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under minimal supervision

  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities

  • Strong collaboration, team orientation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information in a clear and concise manner

  • Experience in presentation development with PowerPoint and data analysis with Excel

Additional experience with the following is a plus:

  • Managing and/or contributing to GHG emissions data collection, calculations, and reporting

  • Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI and SASB) and disclosures (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis, UN Global Compact)

  • Experience in manufacturing, packaging and/or recycling fields
