VP Global Origination, Industrial Energy

Acre has been retained by a leading power producer who develops large (GW+ scale) assets to recruit a VP Level individual contributor to focus on their business development into large corporate & industrial entities globally. These projects are priced in the $Billions from a CAPEX perspective and will be highly visible marquee projects that will be discussed across the industry at a national and international level.

This newly created role reporting directly to the C-Suite will be based in North America but will focus on building key relationships with the biggest businesses in this market segment globally with a heavy focus on APAC.

Key Success Criteria:

• Likely 10+ years, operating within the Energy market in an Origination or Power Marketing role.

• This person does not need to have been predominantly focused on Corporate/Industrial off-takers in the past, but this person will need to have their finger on the pulse and be passionate about building into this space - of course, people with existing relationships will be prioritized.

• Experience with diverse clean energy solutions highly preferred but candidates who only have experience in conventional energy technologies will be considered.

• A deep understanding of North American power markets is essential for this role, as is proven experience structuring and negotiating offtake agreements (PPAs, VPPAs, leases).

• Experience in any international power markets would be highly desirable but not essential.

• Bachelor's Degree with advanced level qualification - MSc, MBA etc - preferred.
