Senior Vice President of Environmental & Sustainability

The Role:

ContourGlobal seeks an experienced ESG/Sustainability professional for the role of Senior Vice President of Environmental & Sustainability. This pivotal position requires strategic vision and hands-on leadership in navigating complex ESG challenges.

In addition, deep expertise in environmental impacts and regulation of complex industrial businesses and a proven track record with stakeholder engagement are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and implement ContourGlobal's sustainability strategy with measurable objectives.

• Proactively manage relationships with sustainability ratings groups, CDP, and advocacy groups.

• Lead ESG aspects of green or SDG-linked bond issuances.

• Provide expertise on environmental and social impact assessment.

• Implement global social and environmental standards and policies.

• Ensure environmental objectives align with corporate objectives.

• Establish a global monitoring system to track sustainability impacts.

• Ensure accurate and transparent social and environmental reporting.

• Enhance the operating environment through environmental and social training initiatives.

• Establish and execute a global environmental and social audit program.

• Regularly monitor changes to environmental laws and regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Extensive experience working in the ESG/Sustainability field is essential. This should include hands-on experience in implementing sustainable practices and strategies.

• Investor Relations: You should have a proven track record of engaging with investors on sustainability-related matters and should be familiar with sustainability ratings systems and their implications on external relations. Excellent communication skills are a must.

• Industry: Previous experience working in publicly traded or large PE-owned companies in the energy sector or highly similar.

• Willingness to Travel: The role will involve frequent travel to global energy sites and offices. Internal visibility is critical for the sustainability leader of ContourGlobal.
