Acre has partnered with a world leader in the biofuels sector who's developing large infrastructure scale multi-billion-dollar projects to produce fleet-level volumes of carbon-negative biofuels.
They have partnered with major transportation infrastructure companies critical to world trade and are continuously gaining traction amongst supermajors in transportation. There will be more projects to come, but right now they are in need of a super-seasoned Director of Project Execution to come in and lead the projects they have going to success.
Based in Houston, the Director of Project Execution will be responsible for:
- Defining the organizational infrastructure for the newly formed projects division.
- The inception and delivery of all project deliverables from FEL through FEED, construction, and startup.
- Managing, building, and owning multi-disciplinary teams and partners to ensure widespread project success
Your background consists of:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Project Management with a minimum of 20 years' experience executing complex projects. Experience executing projects with first-of-a-kind decarbonization technologies is a plus.
- Proven experience leading projects with budgets of $1B-$5B from cradle to grave (required).
- Experience building out project organizations and leading project teams with hundreds of multi-disciplinary, cross-company contributors
- Experience in executing projects within one of the following domains: integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC), coal gasification, biomass gasification, power generation, hydrogen, blue hydrogen, ammonia, syngas, CO2 sequestration, eFuels, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), CO2 transformation, CO2 utilization, etc
