Over recent years, it has made significant progress across sustainability and Net Zero, including award-winning initiatives, science-based climate targets, and pioneering circular packaging solutions that have influenced UK policy. A £100m investment in a next-generation, highly sustainable production facility is currently underway, alongside wider transformation across manufacturing, logistics and customer operations.
The Sustainability Manager - Data & Disclosure will play a pivotal role in shaping how sustainability performance is measured, governed and communicated across the UK business and the wider group.
Reporting into the Director of Corporate Affairs, Policy & Sustainability, this role will lead the collection, analysis and disclosure of ESG data.
You will
- Lead the collection, validation and analysis of ESG data across environmental, social and governance themes
- Coordinate and produce high-quality sustainability disclosures and reports, including a GRI-aligned sustainability report
- Develop and improve sustainability data systems, tools and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Introduce and embed internal Scope 3 measurement approaches
- Support the selection and implementation of suitable carbon accounting software for Scopes 1,2 and 3
- Produce data inputs for corporate carbon transition plans and evaluate carbon pricing methodologies
- Support group-wide sustainability reporting requirements and collaboration across international markets
Sustainability is well established within the organisation and embedded at senior leadership level. This role is not about starting from zero - it is about strengthening data, disclosure and credibility as expectations from regulators, customers and stakeholders continue to accelerate.
Your experience
- Strong evidence of using data to drive change and inform decision-making
- Excellent analytical capability with high attention to detail
- Experience producing clear, high-quality reports that combine narrative and data
- Confidence working cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority
- Proficiency with Excel and data management or ESG reporting tools
- Understanding of climate-related data, carbon accounting or Scope 3 emissions
