About the role
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of client projects. The role entails:

Project and resource planning: Develop achievable, optimised project plans that balance customer outcomes, costs, and risks.

Activity management: Coordinate and oversee the company's teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure delivery aligns with the agreed plan.

Budget, risk, and progress control: Monitor, manage, and report on project financials, risks, and overall performance.

Stakeholder communication: Maintain clear, consistent, and proactive communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Supplier collaboration and improvement: Work closely with suppliers and the wider supply chain to drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery (QCD).
Requirements for the role
Essential Skills and Experience

Fluent in English, with strong command of project management, construction, and engineering terminology.

Demonstrated experience in engineering or asset-based project management, preferably within a client-facing environment.

Solid understanding of recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or PMP.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Proven capability to manage multiple detailed project plans alongside an overarching master programme.

Skilled in the use of project management software and tools.

Experience in project procurement, including contract management and supplier coordination.

Competence in project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Desirable Qualifications

Formal project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, or AgilePM).

Background in related sectors such as waste management, engineering, or construction.
