Acre is excited to continue its support of a leading transmission operator by identifying a talented Grid Modeling Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will help spearhead vital data collection from network providers and market participants to develop foundational power models crucial to grid management, security, and long-term expansion systems.
You'll join a hyper-talented engineering team responsible for the evolution of market modeling strategies. You'll tackle innovative initiatives such as deploying advanced model oversight platforms, optimizing pre-day and live-time market platforms, and integrating decentralized energy sources into key internal frameworks.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Technology, or Electronics required
 - 3+ years of hands-on experience within power systems or infrastructure - such as grid simulation, load flow, contingency analysis, transmission planning, congestion, or outage simulations
 - Ability to be an autonomous professional whilst still collaborating with peers
 
This role can sponsor H1B transfer - but candidates must a) be currently based in the United States and b) have their I140 already.
