Acre is partnering with an innovative, fast-growing organization in their search for a Head of Sales - Carbon. This organization is redefining the US’s approach to legacy energy infrastructure, using the power of carbon markets to deliver both sustainability and social value.

Your Role

 

  • Drive the go-to-market and carbon credit sales strategy, balancing spot sales with multi-year agreements to fund large-scale environmental remediation.
  • Take complete ownership of high-value carbon credit deals, as principal closer and strategic partner, while standing up the company’s first dedicated sales team.
  • Build strong industry, broker, and end-client relationships, representing the business at senior forums and directly influencing how the emerging US climate credit ecosystem evolves.
  • Deliver pipeline and revenue growth from day one, delivering high-value new carbon credit sales in your first year.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • 5–10+ years of demonstrable success in B2B, environmental product commodities, consistently exceeding quotas (including $20M+ complex transactions).
  • Sharp understanding of carbon markets, environmental commodities, or corporate ESG initiatives.
  • Outstanding negotiation, communication, and analytical acumen—with the confidence to lead a high-impact sales function.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and proven passion for driving sustainability and climate action.
