About the opportunity
Acre is proudly partnering with a purpose-led, international operations and sustainability consultancy that works with complex, asset-intensive organisations to reduce risk, protect people, and strengthen long-term performance.
As part of continued growth in Southern Europe, the organisation is seeking a Senior HSE Consultant to support large-scale transformation programmes in Greece, with exposure to projects across Europe and beyond. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on consulting with meaningful impact — improving safety outcomes, operational resilience, and sustainability performance at scale.
What you’ll be working on
You’ll join high-performing, multi-disciplinary consulting teams delivering complex client engagements across high-risk environments. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll help translate operational and safety challenges into practical, implementable solutions that drive lasting change.
Your impact in this role
- Leading defined workstreams within large, complex client engagements, working directly with site and executive-level stakeholders
- Assessing operational processes, management systems, and performance across health & safety, operational excellence, and sustainability
- Turning data, insights, and field observations into clear recommendations, high-quality outputs, and on-the-ground improvements
This is a permanent, home-based role in Greece, with frequent client travel (up to four days per week, project dependent).
What you’ll bring
- A technical foundation, ideally through a degree or Master’s in engineering or a related discipline, alongside experience in consulting and/or industry
- Proven exposure to health & safety, operational risk, or operational excellence within complex or asset-intensive environments
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with fluency in Greek and English (a third European language is advantageous)
You’ll be comfortable working across international, often remote teams, and confident engaging directly with senior client stakeholders.
