The Opportunity
Acre is proudly partnering with the UN Global Compact Singapore in their search for an Associate Director / Director to lead the growth of corporate participation across Singapore’s business community.
This is a senior, commercially focused leadership role with end-to-end accountability for participant growth - combining senior executive engagement, strategic partnerships, and targeted growth marketing to expand UN Global Compact’s reach and impact.
You will operate as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior leaders, leading value-based conversations that connect sustainability leadership with business priorities, while setting the strategic direction for how new participants are identified, engaged, and converted.
What You’ll Do
- Own and deliver the participant growth strategy and recruitment pipeline for Singapore, from target account identification through to conversion and onboarding
- Personally lead senior-level engagement for priority and strategic accounts, setting the standard for high-quality, value-led outreach
- Shape and oversee growth marketing and demand generation activity, ensuring campaigns generate qualified, conversion-ready leads
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the Singapore business ecosystem, including existing participants, prospective companies, and partners
- Provide clear forecasting, performance insight, and strategic recommendations to Country Network leadership and global UN Global Compact teams
- Represent UN Global Compact Singapore as a senior external leader in high-level meetings, events, and partnerships

- A strong, disciplined recruitment pipeline with improved conversion rates
- High-quality leads generated through targeted growth marketing initiatives
- Increased visibility and credibility of UN Global Compact within Singapore’s senior business community
About You
- A senior, commercially minded leader with a strong growth orientation
- Proven experience owning and closing complex, senior-level business development or recruitment pipelines
- Comfortable engaging and influencing C-suite and senior executives
- Strategic, data-driven, and confident in making prioritisation decisions
- Motivated by purpose and impact, without compromising commercial rigour
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in senior-level business development, sales, participant/member recruitment, or growth marketing
- Strong exposure to senior corporate leaders in Singapore and/or ASEAN
- Experience within sustainability, ESG, or purpose-driven organisations preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Full professional proficiency in English
