Acre is proudly partnering with a rapidly growing, globally integrated manufacturing organisation is seeking an HSE and Sustainability leader to unify and accelerate its Health, Safety, Environmental, and ESG agenda across a complex, multi-regional footprint spanning Europe and North America.

You will operate at the intersection of people safety, environmental performance, and ESG transformation, ensuring that ambition is translated into consistent execution across a decentralised, matrixed organisation.
You will
- Define and deliver a unified global HSE and sustainability strategy aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring consistency across all regions and operating entities
- Establish harmonised global safety and environmental standards across manufacturing and logistics sites, ensuring compliance, operational discipline, and continuous improvement
- Lead ESG execution and reporting, including EcoVadis certification, and alignment with global frameworks such as SBTi. This will include ownership of key sustainability KPIs, including emissions, energy efficiency, waste, and incident rates
- Oversee ESG and HSE risk management, including supplier due diligence, human rights considerations, environmental risk, and audit readiness across global operations
- Drive safety culture transformation across the organisation. Shifting mindsets from site-based thinking to a unified, safety-first culture
- Work closely with C-suite, regional leadership teams, and shareholders, providing monthly updates on ESG and HSE performance and influencing senior decision-making at the board level
About You
You are an experienced HSE leader with strong operational grounding, ideally within manufacturing or similarly complex industrial environments. While deep ESG expertise is not essential, you bring a clear interest in sustainability and a willingness to develop further in this space.
