About the Role
Acre is partnering with a fast-growing player in the renewable energy sector, specializing in advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and smart Energy Management Software (EMS). Combining cutting-edge technology with hands-on expertise, they support customers from system design and installation to monitoring, maintenance, and optimization. They are currently looking for a Dutch-speaking Field Service Engineer to join the team and support the growth of their smart battery system solutions. In this role, you will work hands-on with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring reliable installation, maintenance, and performance at customer sites across the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission BESS installations at customer locations
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on-site and remotely
- Collaborate closely with technical and software teams to resolve complex challenges
- Provide feedback from the field to improve products and processes
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety and quality standards
Your Profile
- Fluent in Dutch (required) and comfortable communicating in English
- Technical background in electrical engineering, energy systems, or similar
- Experience with installation, maintenance, or service engineering (experience with BESS is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset
- Willingness to travel within the Utrecht region and occasionally beyond
- Valid driver's license
