Acre has been retained by a fast-growing energy platform operating at the intersection of wholesale power markets, utility procurement, and digital infrastructure. As the business continues to expand, they are seeking a commercially minded origination professional to help drive strategic customer growth and execute complex power transactions across the Western U.S.

What You'll Do
- Build and expand relationships with electric cooperatives, municipal utilities, investor-owned utilities, developers, and large energy users.
- Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities while taking ownership of active commercial transactions already in progress.
- Develop customized wholesale power solutions that align with customer procurement objectives.
- Lead commercial negotiations for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), energy supply agreements, and other structured energy transactions.
- Manage the commercial workstream from opportunity identification through contract execution, coordinating closely with internal modeling, legal, risk, and executive leadership teams.
- Support competitive solicitations, customer proposals, commercial presentations, and transaction approvals.
- Monitor wholesale market activity, procurement trends, and customer demand to identify future business opportunities.
- Help shape commercial strategy and contribute to the continued growth of the organization's origination platform.
What We're Looking For
- Experience originating or executing wholesale power, utility procurement, or energy supply transactions.
- Demonstrated success negotiating PPAs, offtake agreements, or other complex commercial energy contracts.
- Strong understanding of wholesale electricity markets, commercial deal structuring, and transaction management.
- Ability to cultivate executive-level customer relationships and navigate complex, multi-party negotiations.
- Experience working with utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, power marketers, IPPs, renewable developers, or large commercial energy customers.
- Excellent communication, commercial acumen, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Western power markets is preferred.
