Richard Kent

Richard is a Principal Consultant, specializing in leadership hiring for AgTech and SaaS companies. He partners with clients at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and agriculture to identify and attract leaders who drive growth and impact.

Previously, Richard led Acre’s North America Research Function, where he built a well-rounded understanding of sustainability by supporting searches across Sustainable Finance, Clean Tech, and Corporate Sustainability. His clients ranged from Alternative Fuel Manufacturers and Energy Storage companies, to leading Impact Investors, Apparel Brands, and Direct-to-Consumer businesses. He has executed on senior appointments including Chief Technology Officers, Heads of Sustainability, Responsible Supply Chain Directors, and commercial leadership in sales and business development.

Prior to Acre, Richard recruited GTM and engineering executives for high-growth software startups, venture firms, and incubators, giving him a strong foundation in the ecosystem of quickly scaling innovative businesses.

He holds dual degrees in Corporate Strategy & Management and Spanish from Vanderbilt University.
