Removall is a Paris-based firm that specialises in impact carbon finance services, enabling organisations to achieve ambitious climate goals, while developing and structuring collaborative and tailored carbon funds and implementing rigorous and ambitious carbon offset programs.

They aim to become a market leader in the provision of carbon solutions, designing innovative carbon funds and implementing rigorous carbon offset programs. As a business development manager, you will be driving forward this ambitious vision by growing the client portfolio.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you will have the following responsibilities:

Driving Business Development

  • Developing the client portfolio, driving revenue growth and gaining new market shares

  • Ensuring commercial prospecting and generating new leads among pivotal businesses committed to carbon reduction

  • Working on innovation; listening to clients and developing new products and service offerings that position Removall ahead in their field

  • Representing the company at high-profile national and international events to network with leading professionals in the field

Fostering client relationships

  • Leading on client management, ensuring that the business relationships you foster remain long-term and profitable partnerships

Extending global influence

  • Contributing to the marketing strategy to spread Removall's voice in a rapidly expanding marketplace

  • Creating knowledge by participating in working groups and actively contributing to external publications

  • Contributing to the organisation of professional events with global reach

  • Developing market intelligence by conducting strategic, technical, regulatory, and competitive watches

As the ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Two or more years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles

  • Knowledge of carbon offsetting mechanisms, the voluntary carbon market, and climate issues

  • At least one successful experience in sustainability within a carbon offset provider (retailer, broker, trader, project developer…), with proven experience in selling major carbon offset programs to corporate or winning large offset tenders/RfPs.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong negotiation ability, which is both rigorous and dynamic

  • A commitment to making the world a better place

  • Fluency in both French and English
