We are currently supporting a US family office in their search for a Climate-tech Specialist to join their small team in London. The family office makes private venture capital fund and direct investments into early-stage, highly disruptive technologies that have the potential to materially reduce greenhouse gas emissions across multiple sectors. Their aim is to reduce any negative environmental impact through pioneering new production methods, new design techniques and new ways to recycle and save energy; whilst remaining economically sustainable and socially responsible. ​They are also a nimble organization that has a strong company culture, where they value your professional development goals and what you want to achieve in the short and long term. ​In this role, you will lead the development, monitoring, and delivery of reporting and tracking of all sustainability data for internal/external reports as well as for third-party certifications, such as CDP, S&P, Ecovadis, ASI, and more, including analysis. ​You will have the opportunity to direct and manage all public-facing documents, such as the annual sustainability report and green bond report, including content creation. You will also assist with reporting on targets such as carbon footprint reduction, material reduction, water stewardship, optimal sourcing, zero waste, etc. ​Key Responsibilities:Lead on various reporting, certification and qualification projects that enhance sustainability reputation across customers and investors, e.g. ASI qualifications, spend qualification for Green Bond, CDP grading, etc. Manage communications related to sustainability performance and requirements from Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), including content and support for sustainability reports as well as queries from customers and investors. Ensure an integrated and aligned communications approach, considering all audiences and communications channels, that align with sustainability messaging. Develop sustainability content discussing achievements to engage our stakeholders on company sustainability commitments. Benchmark industry suppliers, peers and customers for best-in-class sustainability projects, achievements and associated communications. Manage the flow of ESG data to stakeholders, including evolving customers' sustainability information requirements, working closely with the global sustainability team to assess data quality and ensure consistent reporting with customers' third-party certification organizations. Partner with finance team leads and support annual financial reporting requirements, including analysis on ESG topics, TCFD, for example ​Requirements:Excellent written and verbal communication skills 10+ years of related experience that includes direct experience with ESG reporting, including working with reporting and rating frameworks Demonstrated experience in working with multiple stakeholders to successfully execute action plans Ability to influence at senior levels across the organization Strong project management skills ​The successful candidate will have experience in a high-speed packaging and manufacturing environment and be able to effectively communicate Ardagh's sustainability agenda both within the organization and to a wide range of external stakeholders. ​Sample projects:Data submission management as required by CDP, S&P, Ecovadis, ASI, and more. Including gap analysis and feedback on reporting cycles. Manage materiality assessments. Support LCA projects. ​Please note that this is a hybrid role.
