Alex works as a Consultant, focused on Financial Services based out of our New York office. Alex began his career in recruitment focused on executive search across FTSE 100 companies, specializing in competitive intelligence and C-suite hires. He spent 3 years working across traditional private equity and asset management recruitment before joining Acre and spending the last two and a half years focusing on Senior Sustainable roles across Impact Investing, Asset Management, and Natural Capital. He supports all arms of Financial Services with business development, executive search, research, and competitive intelligence. Alex holds a degree in Politics from the University of Manchester and a Masters in Law from BPP Cambridge.

Andy founded Acre in 2003 and is the company's Chief Impact Officer - driving forward Acre's commercial growth and our commitment to drive significant social and environmental impact. He works closely with our delivery, marketing, and support teams to ensure Acre's services offer the most effective recruitment and talent development solutions to our customers around the globe.

Previously Andy has acted as the deputy chair of Global Action Plan, a charity that brings people together and inspires them to take practical environmental action, and is a trustee &amp; director at Ocean Generation - a charity empowering an inclusive global movement to tackle ocean threats.

Anna is a Senior Sustainability Recruiter at Acre, with a degree in Environmental Sustainability and five years of experience in EHS, Pharma, and Corporate Sustainability. She specialies in sourcing top-tier sustainability and EHS talent for industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Packaging, Manufacturing, and Pharma, helping organisations build teams that are aligned with their sustainability goals.

Aysen brings experience in headhunting, placing executive leadership teams and specialists across the sustainability ecosystem, largely focusing on supply chain sustainability, environmental sustainability, climate change, and human rights.

With over 20 years of recruitment experience, Ben is a strategic leader at Acre, specialising in executive search across EMEA. He focuses on placing Sustainability, ESG, and Health &amp; Safety experts into the Built Environment, Real Estate, and related sectors, ensuring top talent drives meaningful transformation.

Ben is an experienced recruiter who has spent the majority of his career focused exclusively on the Sustainable Fuels &amp; Bioenergy market. He has found a lot of success supporting companies through periods of exponential and high-volume headcount growth and attributes this to his ability to develop deep and honest relationships with his clients.&nbsp;

Additionally, he has found success supporting his clients on strategic and technically niche hires across all job functions and levels of seniority. Before starting his recruitment career, Ben completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Connecticut and graduated with a BA in Digital Media &amp; Design with a unique focus on digital media strategies in business.

Camilla has worked in international Executive Search since 2018, initially specialising in Government and Regulation, and Natural Resources working on C-suite and Board placements. At Acre she works on research strategy and project delivery across our markets as well as searches, she has executed advisory pieces and thought leadership reports for high profile clients including Tesco, Decathlon, Drax, Rio Tinto, and SHV Energy to name a few.

She holds a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Bristol and also speaks French. She is a committee member of Women In Mining UK.

Canace is a Senior Consultant in Acre&rsquo;s professional services team, supporting clients across carbon markets, banking, and insurance. Since joining in 2022, she has led search assignments and global team build-outs for corporate, scale-up, and multistakeholder clients.

Previously, Canace was a consultant at The Works Search, recruiting for corporate communications and public relations roles. She began her career in corporate communications and holds a master&rsquo;s degree from the London School of Economics. A Hong Kong native, she is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, and beyond Acre, she volunteers as a career coach with Breaking Barriers, helping refugees secure meaningful employment in the UK.

Catherine has been recruiting Executives, Advisors and Non-Executives for over 14 years. Her clients range from Fortune 500 CPG &amp; Apparel companies to purpose-driven non-profits and Food / Ag Tech start-ups.&nbsp;&nbsp;She is a trusted advisor on executive leadership, organizational management, career progression, team builds and environmental/social skills development. Prior to Acre, Catherine worked for a boutique search firm with a focus on the charity and public sector.&nbsp;&nbsp;
&nbsp;
 Catherine is also a Trustee for Wild Survivors - an organization that works with rural communities in Tanzania to reduce human-elephant conflict using beehive fences.&nbsp; She completed a Master&rsquo;s at Kings College London in Sustainable Tourism, Development and the Environment in 2001, with a focus on social standards and benchmarking in the tourism sector.

Dan leads Acre&rsquo;s business across the natural resources and manufacturing sectors supporting clients to tackle issues such as traceability, transparency, and environmental impact through their value chains.&nbsp;Working closely with industry sectors that are under pressure to decarbonise, as well as manage their responsibility to host communities across the world, Dan has supported clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.&nbsp;

As well as delivering leadership roles in the corporate markets, Dan has built a strong executive network with industry bodies, not-for-profits, and standards organisations in the space, successfully appointing several Chief Exec positions, Board, and NED roles, responsible for driving global sustainability and climate targets with some of the world&rsquo;s widest reaching organisations.

Deborah works closely with Acre's Americas clients in real estate, infrastructure, and sustainability professional services. Since 2013 she has developed a deep expertise in sustainability talent and the markets that drive industry, placing global sustainability, climate, social impact, and renewable energy executives and their teams into purpose-driven and aspirational organizations.

&nbsp; Prior to executive search, Deborah spent 20 years of her career as a real estate executive in the areas of asset management, operations, and acquisitions for national portfolio companies, before pivoting into her mission of assisting organizations transition into tackling the greatest social and environmental challenges of our time. Deborah has served as a volunteer with Habitat For Humanity and regional housing nonprofits working with refugees, at-risk teens, and domestic abuse survivors.

Ellen has been part of Acre since 2021, leading the Americas team from the New York office. With over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector, she brings strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to sustainability and social impact.

Ellen also serves on the board of Women and Climate, advocating for gender equality in climate action. She previously chaired the board of Invisible Flock, a creative NGO addressing climate change through innovative art projects. In addition to her operational expertise, Ellen has held senior roles, including Deputy CEO and COO at The Challenge, further strengthening her ability to drive impactful change.

Elliot joined Acre in 2023 to spearhead the expansion of our Sustainable Energy practice across the Asia-Pacific region. Bringing a strong background in recruitment, he previously specialised in the Construction &amp; Engineering sector, where he focused on commercial and technical roles within the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) vertical.

 Elliot is dedicated to driving growth in sustainable energy recruitment, connecting forward-thinking organisations with top talent in renewable energy, clean technology, and climate solutions. He collaborates closely with clients and candidates to support the region&rsquo;s energy transition, leveraging his industry expertise and deep network to identify and place high-calibre professionals in roles that make a tangible impact on sustainability goals.

Emily leads the Research and Advisory functions across EMEA, developing research strategies, delivering retained searches, and providing market insights to clients across all of Acre's markets. She brings a strong qualitative and quantitative research background, having completed her PhD at the University of Edinburgh, where she lectured and researched for several years before moving to an executive search firm where she led searches, consulting pieces, and thought leadership reports focussed on the natural resources space.

Emma leads Acre&rsquo;s senior-level searches across EMEA Financial Services, bringing over 17 years of executive search expertise. Before joining Acre, she spent 13 years at Heidrick &amp; Struggles, working in both Hong Kong and London. There, she most recently led the EMEA Asset Management and Sustainable Finance practices, managing cross-border client relationships and overseeing senior-level executive search and assessment projects.

Georgina is a seasoned Executive Search professional specialising in Renewable Energy, Novel Energy Solutions, Storage, Carbon Removal, CCUS, and Clean Fuels to help clients develop best-in-class business units.&nbsp; &nbsp;She helps to grow the teams of disruptive businesses developing the next generation of renewable electric power, mobility, and decarbonisation technologies.&nbsp;
 After a 14-year career recruiting finance professionals across the globe, Georgina became concerned that there wasn&rsquo;t enough connectivity between the financial services sector and the energy transition. As a result, Georgina delivered an ESG Podcast series; featuring a number of C-Suite Investment Leaders, Environmental Consultancies, Asset Owners, and Data Innovators.
 Georgina published Acre&rsquo;s Climate Solutions Series "The Green Recovery &amp; Beyond", which outlines some of the most innovative climate solutions (sector by sector).

Gloria leads Acre&rsquo;s Financial Service &amp; Impact Investing practice for the Americas. She brings more than 20 years of executive search experience, across global markets and building teams from the mid-to-senior level. At Acre, she oversees the practice across Investment Management (Asset Management, private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, hedge funds, asset owners), Banking (Investment banking and capital markets), Impact investing firms, and Insurance Firms (Investment function).

Before joining Acre, Gloria spent 10 years at Korn Ferry leading the professional search Asset Management practice and was co-founder of the company&rsquo;s impact investing practice in 2015. Gloria also spent 12 years as a board member of Greyston Bakery, a pioneering social enterprise that practices open hiring.

Greg leads Acre's Sustainable Business Practice in the Asia-Pacific region, specialising in senior-level executive searches. With a decade of experience at Acre, Greg has worked globally across diverse sectors, including consumer goods, manufacturing, extractives, infrastructure, and power generation.
 Before joining Acre, Greg contributed to the development of the emerging carbon credit trading sector in South Africa's Eastern Cape, conducted environmental consultancy work within the fisheries sector of Caborra Bassa, Mozambique, and served as a countrywide sales manager in Zimbabwe.
 Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, Economics, and Anthropology, combining interdisciplinary expertise to support his work in driving sustainable business leadership.

Helen leads senior-level searches across private equity, private credit, renewable energy, infrastructure and real estate investment funds within the EMEA region. &nbsp; Helen brings 20 years of global search and recruitment experience. During her last 13 years at Acre, Helen has gained a unique in-depth knowledge and network across all facets of sustainable finance, impact investing and sustainability within the FS sector. &nbsp; Helen takes great pride in being a trusted partner to help shape high performing teams that foster positive working culture. She enjoys supporting and coaching people in their career development.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Helen has a first class BA(hons) degree in Textile Design from Central St Martins, London and a BA(hons) degree in Sociology from UEA.

Imogen works as a Consultant at Acre. Based in London, she focuses on permanent recruitment in the Consumer Goods sector, specifically within the Food and Beverage practice. Jenny is a Senior Research Consultant on Acre&rsquo;s US Team. From academic research on labor and fulfillment to teaching in the U.S. and abroad, and advocating for air quality and pollution reduction through Breathe Mongolia NGO, her career trajectory demonstrates a commitment to meaningful change.

 At Acre, Jenny works on recruitment and advisory projects across Sustainable Business, Energy, and Financial Services. Her favorite projects have been those in hard-to-abate sectors such as infrastructure, metals and mining, transportation, and agriculture.

Jesse has been supporting the UK consumer market with interim and contract recruitment solutions since 2017. At Acre, Jesse focuses on mid to senior interim mandates in Sustainability and ESG within Consumer Goods, Manufacturing &amp; Technology.

Josh is a recruitment leader who has worked in cleantech in Europe for the last 6 years. Focussing on helping IPPs, developers, EPC&rsquo;s, O&amp;M and product manufacturing companies hire their teams across all types of commercial, industrial, and utility scale projects and products.

He specialises in energy storage, and large scale onshore renewable projects, as well as the products that underpin them. Josh is originally from the UK and has been living in Amsterdam for the last 6 years, he joined Acre in 2024 to expand our Sustainable Energy &amp; Clean Technologies division in Europe.

Julene is a Consultant at Acre, specialising in ESG and sustainability recruitment within EMEA&rsquo;s infrastructure, transport, and logistics sectors. She partners with leading infrastructure firms, transport operators, and global logistics companies to build high-impact teams driving decarbonisation, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives.&nbsp;

With over three years of experience, she has worked across sustainable finance and impact investing, previously supporting private equity firms and financial institutions in ESG-focused hiring. Julene holds a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management with a major in Sustainability and authored a thesis on ESG integration by EU real asset investors, reinforcing her expertise in sustainable infrastructure and the energy transition.

Kate is the EMEA Director for Professional Services, leading a team covering markets in consultancy, legal, accountancy, banking and insurance.&nbsp;
 She has successfully partnered with various globally listed companies, privately owned firms, and consultancy businesses to assist in hiring senior sustainability leaders. Her expertise allows her to understand the nuanced needs of organisations in the evolving sustainability landscape.&nbsp; 
 Before joining Acre in 2019, Kate spent three years at a corporate affairs search firm, where she honed her recruitment skills. She holds an MSc in Psychology, which enhances her ability to connect with candidates and clients alike.

Katy is Head of Investment Management in the UK and she leads the EMEA team who specialise in placing sustainable investment and impact professionals into asset management and private markets investment firms.&nbsp; She has specialised in financial services recruitment and search since she started her career in 2013.

Katy has led and delivered senior mandates including the Head of Responsible Investment for a UK investment manager; Heads of Stewardship for two global asset managers, the Head of Illiquid Assets for a European asset owner, and the Head of Thematic Research for a specialist global Asset Management firm.

Katy graduated with a BSc in Ecology from Durham University and is passionate about issues related to sustainability, biodiversity and development.

With a strategic focus on the consumer manufacturing sector in the EMEA region, Lawrence plays a vital role in Acre&rsquo;s mission to connect purpose-driven professionals with forward-thinking organisations. His extensive experience in sustainability recruitment has given him a deep understanding of challenges in the consumer goods landscape, including ethical sourcing and circular economy strategies.

 Lawrence combines a robust network with keen market insight, connecting businesses with the talent necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving sector. Lewis is a Principal Consultant at Acre, specializing in corporate and technical recruitment within Carbon Markets. Based in New York City, he has deep expertise in delivering complex mandates for carbon project development, spanning both natural climate solutions and engineered carbon removal. 
His client portfolio includes leading independent and technologically diverse developers across North America and internationally, as well as carbon credit buyers, climate finance vehicles, conservation and environmental NGOs, third-party verifiers, standards organizations, and innovative startups. 
Prior to his current role, Lewis led Carbon Markets recruitment for Acre in London. He also has experience in renewable energy recruitment, where he supported senior executive searches and led a team of specialized consultants.

Liam is an Associate Director leading Acre&rsquo;s Consumer Goods, Retail, and Manufacturing practice across the EMEA region, managing a team of specialists across London and Amsterdam offices. During his 9 years at Acre, Liam has partnered with Executives at progressive organisations both for profit and non-profit to advise on how best to organise their sustainability or purpose-led teams, as well as conducting Executive Search mandates and project managing team builds.

Beyond his core role, Liam contributes to Acre&rsquo;s internal sustainability work, including B-corp and net-zero. Liam holds a 1st class degree in Environmental Geography.

Lucy leads Acre's research efforts on senior search mandates with a specific focus on the sustainable investment and legal markets. She has over 10 years' experience in executive search and has delivered global C suite, partner and managing director searches for global law firms and financial services firms. She has led leadership succession planning, perception analyses, and tailored competitive intelligence projects for multinational corporations across various industries.

Her expertise spans advising firms on market positioning, talent acquisition, and strategic growth. Before transitioning into executive search and recruitment, Lucy practised as a qualified lawyer, focusing on regulatory breaches related to health, safety, and environmental legislation. This legal background provides her with unique insight into leadership needs within the sector.

Nick is Head of Private Markets &amp; Real Assets in the UK, with a decade dedicated to private markets search. He joined Acre during the rise of sustainable practices in the industry, gaining insight into the evolution of sustainability and ESG.

Nick works with various equity, credit, debt, infrastructure, and real estate investors, efficiently managing searches from associate to partner level. Nick focuses on understanding candidate motivations and ensuring they possess the necessary commercial skills for the private markets. Nick acts as a true consultant, providing real-time market data and insights to deliver top-tier talent for clients.

Oliver is an Associate Client Director for Acre's North American business. Oliver brings core experience in delivering complex mandates across power, utilities, and infrastructure. Adept at executive search or team builds, Oliver works tirelessly with clients to curate a sophisticated talent acquisition strategy that aligns with his clients needs and long term goals.

Oliver's client portfolio consists of a diverse array of technology strategies including Renewables, Battery Storage, Data Centers, Transmission Infrastructure, Microgrids, and Geothermal.

Oliver is based in Houston but also spends a large amount of time at Acre's US HQ in New York City meeting with colleagues and clients.

Paddy has spent 20 years working in Executive Search across multiple markets in the APAC region with relationships across the finance and commercial sectors. He joined Acre in 2022 to launch the APAC business and now leads the firm's operations across the region. He remains actively involved in delivering search work with a specific focus on working with Private Markets, Family Offices, Banks, Insurance and Asset Management. &nbsp;
&nbsp;
He also works extensively in the not-for-profit and NGO sectors. He has a BSc in Geography from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Peter has seven years of experience in executive search and talent consultancy, specialising in strategic appointments across Europe. With a Master's in Business Administration and HR, his track record includes placements of senior ESG professionals, C-suite executives, and board members.
 At Acre, he focuses on sustainable finance in the EMEA region. Additionally, he has worked on broad mandates in carbon markets, corporate sustainability and general leadership roles in mission-driven organisations. Peter has a strong interest in team dynamics, and what makes a perfect match between a professional and an organisation beyond just the experience on a CV.

Quentin joined Acre as a Principal to lead technical recruitment in cleantech and decarbonization markets encompassing Power Generation, Alternative Energy, Clean Chemicals &amp; Fuels, and Carbon Removals. His background is unique in that he studied Mechanical Engineering and spent five years in Research &amp; Development before getting into recruitment.

He was responsible for leading various low TRL projects that required extensive design, simulation and testing work but he also overall worked hand in hand with material scientists, operators and business development teams to create new processes and new products for the defense mobility market.

For the past four years, Quentin has leveraged his engineering foundations to take a first principles approach to technical recruitment helping innovators across North America attract and attain the greatest engineers and technical leaders on the market.&nbsp;

Richard brings a wealth of recruitment experience to our New York team, where he leads the Research Function in North America, supplying in-depth client and candidate research and talent mapping across all industries. As a Sr. Researcher, he has helped cleantech clients find Technical and Business Development leadership, impactful non-profits recruit executive leadership, and Fortune 500 brands identify Heads of Sustainability.
&nbsp; Prior to Acre, he cut his teeth recruiting for high-growth tech start-ups, VCs, and incubators at IQTalent Partners.
&nbsp; During his eight year tenure there, he saw the team grow from 5 to well over 200 full time employees. Richard graduated with dual degrees in Corporate Strategy &amp; Management and Spanish from Vanderbilt University.

Richard joined Acre in October 2011 as a Non-Exec Director prior to becoming the Chief Executive, and an investor, in April 2012. He works very closely with the founder, Andrew Cartland, ensuring that Acre's growth is maximised as the business takes full advantage of the rapid development in purpose-led leadership around the globe.&nbsp;
 &nbsp; Richard has guided the expansion of the business through innovative client services and opening new offices in New York, Amsterdam and Singapore.&nbsp;
 &nbsp; Richard has a proven track record of building businesses and establishing brand positions, driven by quality and differentiation. Between 1994 and 2009 he built another recruitment business, MWA, to 225 people / &pound;50m turnover. He then sold this business to Randstad, the world's 2nd largest staffing organisation.

As a member of Acre's Industry and Infrastructure team, Ruth partners with organisations across the Transport and Logistics sector to embed sustainability into their operations. From Aviation and Maritime to Rail, Ruth supports these fast-growing industries by consulting, developing teams, and driving impactful recruitment strategies. Her work aligns deeply with her core values and passion for supporting those who create meaningful change.
 Ruth also brings extensive experience in recruiting for the Consumer Goods and Retail Sustainability sectors, as well as internationally in the Renewables and Clean Energy space since 2019. She holds a 2:1 BA in Geography from the University of Brighton, a foundation that complements her commitment to sustainability and environmental impact.

Shannon is an experienced Research Consultant in Acre's New York office, specializing in in-depth client and candidate research and talent mapping within the real estate and financial services industries. She began her career in nonprofit recruitment, where she served her community as a Commissioner of Conservation and Coastal Resilience.

In 2022, Shannon joined Acre to blend her expertise in talent acquisition with her passion for sustainability. Her unique background allows her to effectively identify and connect organizations with top talent committed to sustainable practices.&nbsp;

Additionally, Shannon is a board member of Out in Climate, a nonprofit focused on fostering community among LGBTQ+ professionals in sustainability.

As part of Acre&rsquo;s research team, Shaqeeb leads senior searches across all sectors, utilising his extensive experience to find the best candidates for various roles. Before transitioning into research, he spent four years specialising in supply chain recruitment, where he developed deep expertise in logistics and operations management.

Recognising the growing importance of sustainability, Shaqeeb expanded his focus to include sustainability and ESG recruitment, collaborating with organisations across consumer goods and various other industries. He excels at identifying top talent who not only meet specific role requirements but also align with a company&rsquo;s vision for sustainability and innovation, ensuring successful placements that drive positive change.

Tanith leads Acre's EMEA business overseeing teams across the UK and Europe and has spent the last decade hiring into sustainability and impact. Tanith spends the majority of her time with Acre's clients, delivering executive search projects, particularly those with a learning or exploration lens, as well as bespoke consultancy and business optimisation assignments.

Beyond her day job, Tanith is also an advisor to the sustainable packaging start-up, Notpla, and has worked as a pro bono recruitment partner for Ocean Generation and Global Action Plan.&nbsp;

With a background in urban planning in Australia and Malaysia, Thaddeus began his recruitment career in executive search, specialising in the technology sector with a focus on digital transformation. He played a key role in growing the business and building strong relationships with major clients. At Acre, Thaddeus has successfully placed mid- to executive-level professionals in the consumer goods and manufacturing sectors, covering both technical and leadership roles.

His prior experience in urban planning and sustainability, coupled with his technical expertise, enables him to connect top talent with purpose-driven organisations. Thaddeus holds a BA in Urban &amp; Regional Planning and an MSc in Urbanism.

Tiana leads the interim market at Acre for professional services and the built environment. She engages with clients and candidates, driving sustainability strategies, ESG initiatives, and roadmaps for SMEs, real estate, asset management, legal and financial institutions, and top consultancies. Passionate about career development, she guides candidates to unlock their potential and secure long-term opportunities.

Tom is a recruitment leader with over a decade of experience partnering with companies ranging from start-ups to industry leaders across varied markets, globally. Predominantly Tom's experience has been in the development, manufacture &amp; deployment of clean energy technologies, with particular success in the exec search space placing President &amp; C-Suite executives. His experience spans: Project Development &amp; Origination, Procurement &amp; Supply Chain, Engineering &amp; Construction, Finance, Operations, Sales &amp; Marketing, Quality &amp; HSE, Research &amp; Development.

 Originally from the UK now living in NYC for the last few years, Tom joined Acre in 2023 to direct and expand our Sustainable Energy &amp; Clean Technologies division in North America.

Tom leads Acre's Food &amp; Beverage Practice, with a focus on senior level Sustainability appointments across EMEA. Tom works with clients across Agriculture, Manufacturing and Retail, as well as work with fast-growth clients and leading global NGOs.&nbsp; Previously, Tom focused on senior appointments within Procurement &amp; Supply Chain, with particular expertise in Consumer Goods across the DACH markets.

Over the last decade, Tom has placed some of the most impactful leaders across the region in the pursuit of a sustainable food system. Tom joined Acre to continue the company&rsquo;s international growth. He holds a first-class degree in Mathematics.

Valerie joined Acre in 2022 as a Senior Consultant specialising in Sustainable Business and Advisory. After two successful years, she transitioned to a research-focused role and now leads Research for the APAC region. Additionally, Valerie heads the leadership development offering, utilising her SHL certification for ability and personality assessments and coaching training from the Co-Active Training Institute to support professionals and leaders.
 &nbsp; With a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Occupational and Business Psychology, Valerie began her career at a boutique executive search firm in London. Born in Singapore, she returned home after seven years in the UK. Valerie has since gained extensive global experience in Executive Search across industries and functions at Spencer Stuart and Korn Ferry, focusing on hiring and developing exceptional leaders for lasting impact.

Zac joined Acre&rsquo;s APAC Sustainable Finance Team in 2023, bringing over six years of experience in resource solutions for the technology, financial, and insurance sectors. Since joining he's supported Acre's clients across Hong Kong and Singapore within the Sustainability teams of large insurers, asset managers and environmental consultancies - ranging from Head of ESG roles, down to analyst level.&nbsp;He has supported clients from further afield, including Korea, Thailand and Malaysia.&nbsp;

Currently pursuing a part-time Master's degree in sustainable development, Zac joined Acre after connecting the shared vision of driving impact and fostering a sustainable future.
