A UK based Investment Management firm is seeking a Senior Stewardship Analyst to join the Stewardship team. You will help to deliver the Responsible Investment and Engagement framework with a focus on Stewardship. The firm invests across both public and private markets, directly and via specialist investment firms.

The role will require you to maintain and review voting principles, provide analysis and recommendations for a set of priority votes. You will gain exposure not only to Stewardship and Engagement but also looking at key themes such as Climate Change, Natural Capital, Circular Economy, Tax Transparency and Human Rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and review voting principles

  • Provide analysis and recommendations for a set of priority votes in agreement with the firms voting principles and execution deadlines

  • Oversee and review execution of votes by third party

  • Managing relationships with external stewardship providers on voting related matters and support annual review of reporting

  • Assist with annual Stewardship Plan including engagement on key Stewardship Themes (climate and biodiversity, plastic pollution, tax transparency and human rights)

  • Working with other RI Analysts in the team on integrating outputs from Climate Risk Monitoring into stewardship priorities (voting and engagement)

Key Experience:

  • Experience in Responsible Investment/Stewardship/Corporate Governance

  • Experience of proxy analysis and vote execution

  • Coordinating proxy voting processes and voting policy development

  • Awareness of global Stewardship Codes

  • Experience of working across teams with multiple internal stakeholders

  • Managing third party relationships
