Are you looking to work for a business committed to being responsible and sustainable, but currently unable to make key decisions due to red tape and lack of decision maker exposure?
You will have the opportunity to make key strategic decisions, as well as working closely with senior management including the CEO on challenging business strategy.
Your opportunity:
Managing the day-to-day decarbonisation programme across apetito
Working closely with the HR Director, ensure apetito's ethical & sustainable values are incorporated into and influence the development of HR initiatives
Sitting on the Food Policy Group to challenge and provide ethical/sustainable input
Delivering the Courtauld 2025 Commitment through internal stakeholders
Communicating with key industry stakeholders and represent apetito with influencing organisations, such as WRAP, FDF, CIWF
Supporting the development of effective partnerships across the sustainability sector, that bring real value to apetito and its customers
You will have:
Strong influencing skills with excellent all-round communication skills who inspires and motivates.
The ability to work on cross-functional partnerships and drive change through others
A huge passion for ethical and sustainable issues - with experience at similar organisations
Empathy with the customers and markets that Apetito serves and the "making a "real" difference mission
The ability to both challenge and represent the Company at a senior level
