Sustainability Data Governance & Assurance Analyst (Maternity cover)

Acre is partnering with a global sustainable food and agriculture business, to support the hiring of a Sustainability Data Governance & Assurance Analyst for a 12 Month maternity cover.

 

This role sits within the Finance & Sustainability team and offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of sustainability governance, data assurance, and reporting readiness in a complex and evolving global landscape.

 

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, governance and audit-readiness of sustainability data for regulatory reporting and disclosures (GRI, ISSB, TNFD, ESRS and more). From building data governance frameworks to supporting internal audit and third-party assurance activities, this role is key in shaping how sustainability data is embedded across global teams and systems.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Supporting global sustainability data governance projects and enhancing processes across digital systems, definitions, controls, and evidence trails
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Finance, HR, IT, and Sustainability to support data collection, validation, and reporting
  • Contributing to internal assurance protocols and supporting readiness for third-party audits
  • Helping build capacity and training resources to upskill global business teams on sustainability data governance

 

About You

 

  • Minimum 3 year’s experience in data governance (ideally sustainability data) and an understanding of the external reporting landscape
  • Solid project management skills and the ability to coordinate across global time zones
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and confidence collaborating with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of agribusiness is advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
