Acre is partnering with a Solar Developer to onboard an experienced Project Manager for a 6-month Freelance Contract. You’ll take the lead on getting a portfolio of operational energy assets into top shape. Think of it as making sure every project stands tall from a technical, operational, and compliance point of view.
You’ll oversee and guide cross-functional teams on several solar projects, coordinating between internal specialists, technical experts, and external partners. The goal? To make sure these projects are fully compliant, their issues are resolved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team that spans technical, operational, and specialist functions to identify and sort out outstanding issues.
- Oversee the condition and documentation quality of several operating solar parks.
- Manage remediation work, whether it’s equipment hiccups, performance drops, or structural quirks.
- Coordinate due diligence-style checks across permits, obligations, and municipal interfaces.
- Serve as the primary contact for external partners, translating detailed info into clear direction.
- Run focused issue resolution sessions to crack through individual challenges efficiently.
- Keep momentum high so nothing slips into standby mode.
What You’ll Bring
- Around 10+ years of Project Management experience.
- A steady hand when coordinating mixed teams with different specialties.
- A background in technical, operational, or infrastructure projects. Energy/Solar project experience is ideal but not essential.
- The ability to step back and see how all the pieces fit together, not just the technical bits.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A curious and persistent mindset that digs until the problem is understood.
- Experience steering projects with heavy compliance or permitting components.
