Acre is thrilled to partner with the transformative corporate foundation of a private equity firm to appoint a Partnerships & Impact Manager to support their growing work and ambitions.
This is an exciting, newly created job opportunity to lead the delivery of the voluntary sector support offering and play a central role in managing and shaping the foundation’s programmes and partnerships.
Working closely with charities, consultants, public sector bodies, and a portfolio of companies, the Partnerships & Impact Manager will help to further scale the impact of the charity's partners.
The successful person will unlock funding opportunities, identify individuals to provide charities with key support, and convene groups around shared challenges and opportunities.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading the design, delivery, and evolution of the foundation’s programme of voluntary sector support to agreed timelines, budgets, and KPIs, including impact measurement, organisational development, and access to public sector funding
- Commissioning, briefing, and managing consultants and third-party providers to deliver high-quality, value-for-money support to charities
- Managing programme budgets, monitoring and reporting on finances, and making the best use of funds to maximise impact
- Working closely with funded charities to understand their scaling ambitions, strategic priorities, and support needs
- Building and managing relationships with strategic partners, supporting the design and delivery of partnership activities
- Provide day-to-day support of the foundation’s work and continuous improvement
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Organisational and programme management skills, with a demonstrable track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programmes
- Experience working with or within the voluntary, public, or grantmaking sectors
- Strong understanding of public sector funding, commissioning, or procurement processes and the requirements charities face when scaling
- Experience in liaising and influencing senior stakeholders, and managing external consultants
- Strong written and communication skills
