Key Responsibilities
- Own month-end close and full-cycle accounting processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Assist with audits and regulatory examinations
- Support statutory reporting and NAIC filings
- Work within multi-state insurance accounting requirements
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve accounting processes
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or Business
- 3-5 years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience with ownership of full-cycle accounting processes
This role is hybrid, requiring 4 days a week in office.
