Nofence has built the world’s first virtual fencing solution for livestock: a solar-powered collar that lets farmers set up grazing areas in seconds via a smartphone app. No more installing or moving physical fences. With 3,000+ customers across Norway, the UK, and Spain, we’re now growing fast in the US and building the team to match.
About The Role
You’ll own U.S. marketing strategy end-to-end from deciding which channels and partners we invest in, to shaping how Nofence shows up at events, on social, and in the field. This isn’t just campaign execution. You’ll be inheriting a platform with momentum, identifying what to rebuild, and leading a Marketing Specialist to raise the bar across the board.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Set U.S. marketing strategy and own the budget — allocating by channel, adjusting on performance, and reporting to the Managing Director
- Lead media investment and partner strategy — deciding which endemic media partners we work with, at what level, and whether they’re delivering
- Define campaign priorities, audiences, and objectives, working with the global performance team on execution
- Build and run the creator and ambassador program — who we partner with, on what terms, and how their content gets deployed
- Shape U.S. social content strategy and calendar, built around campaign cycles, seasons, and sales
- Decide which events we show up to, what success looks like, and whether they’re worth repeating
- Keep U.S. marketing grounded in how American livestock producers actually think — and feed that reality back into global planning
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record of owning strategy and results in a growth or market-expansion environment
- Deep, firsthand experience in the U.S. livestock or grazing industry — not as background knowledge, but as the lens through which you think about audiences and messaging
- Experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment; you know how to assess what’s working, fix what isn’t, and move fast
- Comfortable with performance data — able to read results, draw conclusions, and make directional calls without waiting for perfect information
- Strong communicator who can translate complex market dynamics into clear direction and compelling producer-facing content
- Experience managing external partners, vendors, and content creators with clear expectations and accountability
