The Role

The Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO. • Provide clear, balanced financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, ESOP consultants, and other financial partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance, accounting, and payroll teams.

Financial Operations and Reporting

  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow, payroll, and treasury.
  • Own enterprise-level FP&A, forecasting accuracy, and scenario modelling.
  • Ensure timely, accurate reporting in accordance with US GAAP and applicable international standards.
  • Oversee internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard organisational assets.

Compliance, Risk and Governance

  • Assess and manage financial risk with particular attention to assurance, accreditation, and regulatory considerations.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and reporting requirements across all operating geographies.

Capital Allocation and Growth

  • Define and maintain optimal capital structure and liquidity strategy across multi-currency operations.

Establish ROI frameworks for evaluating investments in new geographies, service lines, and technology platforms.

  • Lead financial diligence, valuation, and deal structuring for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
  • Advise on international subsidiary setup, global tax, foreign exchange, and cash repatriation.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Extensive progressive financial leadership experience, including senior or executive roles.
  • Track record leading finance organisations through growth, geographic expansion, or business model evolution.
  • Comfort balancing accreditation independence with commercial growth and operating discipline.

Preferred

Experience within third-party certification, assurance, or professional services environments.

  • Demonstrated leadership of multi-currency consolidations, transfer pricing, and international tax planning.
  • Hands-on M&A experience including diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and integration.
  • ERP and FP&A platform implementation experience (Sage Intacct, Planful, or comparable).
  • Working knowledge of IFRS alongside US GAAP.
