Acre is delighted to be mandated by a prominent global investment firm with a focus on impact investing and sustainable development in private markets to hire additional Legal Counsel capability for a fixed-term contract (FTC) of up to 9 months.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing investment business and work across both developed markets and emerging markets. You’ll enjoy a collegiate professional working environment, based in our client’s London office.
As an integral part of the global group-level legal team, this is an exciting opportunity to work across and support various fund lifecycles at platform level, with an emphasis on providing support to Luxembourg-registered funds. Examples of responsibilities include Board paper preparation, analysing side letters and post-close legal support. You’ll also support legal and regulatory projects affecting the business, including investment fund regulation and governance requirements.

Legal experience and competencies sought:
- 1-3 years PQE, although candidates with more experience will be considered, while exceptional trainee-level candidates may also be considered
- The post-qualification experience and/or traineeship will have been gained in-house in a financial services environment supporting investment funds, asset management, private equity, broader financial services, or within a leading law firm.
- Familiarity with the private equity ecosystem is advantageous
- Understanding of international legal structures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Commercially minded with sound judgement and a pragmatic approach
- Proactive, solution-oriented and adaptable
