For four years now Acre have hosted the Women In Health and Safety Christmas party. Over the years we have helped you to build your confidence, challenged you to step outside of your comfort zone and introduced you to mentors all with the aim of supporting you to fulfil your potential.
This year we want to focus on one of the most important aspects of development, celebrating your success.
All too often we are so focused on achieving our goal that we don’t reflect and celebrate how far we have already come. We will explain more about why this is critical to us all as humans, women and as health and safety professionals at this year’s Christmas party, but in order to showcase the achievements of this incredible community over the past 12 months we need your help….
We need you all to record a brief 20-30 second video describing your proudest achievement of 2018. It can be work related, personal or even a mix of both. Film them at work, at home, on holiday, with your kids….the more personal the better! Not sure what to say? Well to encourage you all to step in front of the camera we have produced a quick demo to give you some ideas!
Please don’t stop there, share this with your peers and colleagues, encourage them to get involved. The more women we get involved the louder our voice and the more we can encourage others to find theirs.
On the 12th December at the Women In Health and Safety Christmas Party, (which you are all of course invited to) we will premiere all your achievements in one powerful short film. It’s our hope that this film creates a wave of positivity throughout the profession recognizing that celebrating success and focusing on the positives is essential not just for women, but for all.
